Home and business moves in North Dorset
Johnson’s of Shaftesbury has been helping people move since 1855. We arrange household and business removals to, from and around North Dorset, with packing and storage support available as part of your move.
Start with the size of your property, your collection and delivery addresses and your preferred date. If you are still waiting for a completion date, tell us so we can discuss the next steps.
Packing and planning
Choose the help you need, from a smaller load to a full household removal. We can discuss packing, furniture dismantling and reassembly, and any items that need particular care.
Let us know about parking, stairs, narrow entrances and the distance between your door and the removal vehicle. For business moves, include equipment and timing requirements so the work can be planned around them.
Storage at our Gillingham base
Our storage facilities are in Gillingham, Dorset. They serve customers across North Dorset; storage can be arranged when dates do not line up or you need more time to decide what to keep.
Ask about container storage or drive-up self storage, depending on how often you need access. Tell us about fragile or specialist items so the team can discuss suitable arrangements.
